Last week we started on Unit 8, Clinical Psychology.  This material will not be covered on the AP Psychology exam on May 19th, but it is material that is part of our required course content.

Assignment – Due Thursday, 4/9/20 by 2:00 pm. Friday is a school holiday so enjoy the long weekend. 
  1. Watch and take detailed notes on Crash Course Psychology #28 – Psychological Disorders.
  2. Watch and take detailed notes on any two of the following Crash Course videos (choose ones that you are interested in learning more about):

Exam timing
Students will have 25 minutes to read and respond to Question 1, and then 5 minutes to upload their response. After uploading the response to Question 1, students will have 15 minutes to respond to Question 2, with 5 additional minutes to upload their response to Question 2. Once their response to Question 1 has been submitted, they cannot go back to it.

​Watch the following two videos developed as resources by AP CollegeBoard - click on the box at top center of this post.  Use each video to review and practice.  When instructor, Ms. Fenton, presents a question / scenario to review or try - stop the video and actually write down the question / scenario and answer to your best ability.  Then restart the video and listen to the response. Check if your response was correct and as needed take notes to revise your response (in a different color of pen or font if typing).

Scholars – This was an unexpected week out of school and the situation is fluid as to our return.  Below are assignments for this week to keep you on track in your studies of AP Psychology.  Please contact members of your group / classmates to share that assignments have been posted.  Submit assignments electronically to my email (Marianne.romaine@polk-fl.net).  Assignments may be typed or handwritten.  If assignment is handwritten, you may send a picture as an attachment (make sure it is readable) through email.  Contact me with any questions or concerns.  Take a deep breath and follow the recommendations of the CDC.

  • ​Make a review plan.
  • Keep track of time during exam by wearing a watch.
